Forty-one flags have recently been installed in front of the United Methodist Building at 601 West Riverview in Dayton, Ohio which houses the offices of the General Council on Ministries.

Although the United Methodist Church has a presence in over 100 countries, forty of the flags represent the nations which have a formal, organized United Methodist Church. The forty-first flag is the Christian flag.
